Groundz shoes are designed to provide many benefits of going barefoot while protecting against injury and uncomfortable temps with:
Foot-shaped with wide toe boxes, which let toes spread out freely, rather than force them into narrow corners, and provide natural stability;
Soles that are thin, flexible and flat (a.k.a. “zero-drop”) and free of arch support to promote natural foot strength, balance, posture and gait.
HOW DO GROUNDZ SHOES GROUND YOU?
Via genuine copper plugs, which are mounted within the soles. As a highly conductive metal, copper conducts electrons from natural Earth surfaces directly into the skin and into the surrounding leathers. The leathers are also conductive and become more so with sweat.
CAN YOU WEAR SOCKS WITH GROUNDZ EARTHING SHOES?
While you certainly can ground in them while wearing grounding socks or regular socks made of natural fibers, we recommend wearing them on bare feet unless it’s prohibitively cold out - for optimal conductivity AND comfort!
