OUR TEAM’S REVIEW
March here…While I don’t have any Harmony 783 grounding boots that they currently offer, I still wear a (now-discontinued) white leather style with the same design and fit. They’re comfy and I love the side zippers, though the fit is on the narrow side (thin or no socks only for me in these). They are also my go tos, usually for cooler weather and light snow!

Full disclosure - we don’t have either of these Groundz boots. But we do have several other pairs of Groundz shoes, including other Groundz “coppers” slip-ons, which we love for their comfort and glove-like feel!
That said, we’ve found that the copper rivets in Groundz shoes are excellent conductors of thermal energy, and when it’s really cold out, you’ll feel it through those rivets. Hence, we recommend them in cold, but not freezing, temperatures. Also, as the all-natural leather is not water-resistant, these boots are best in dry-weather conditions.
FAQ ABOUT GROUNDING BOOTS

Grounding boots, also known as earthing boots, allow the Earth's natural 7.83Hz electron flow, or energy, to permeate the feet through conductive materials in the soles.
Like all grounding shoes, they are a substitute for going barefoot in order to achieve the health benefits associated with grounding. Learn more about Earthing, or grounding, here.
In order for grounding boots to be effective, you need to wear them on natural earth surfaces like dirt, grass or sand, or unpainted concrete, brick or stone which lays directly on natural earth.

Unlike most rubber-soled boots, which insulate you from the Earth's natural energy, grounding boots are have conductive elements such as carbon, copper and silver in the soles. When in direct contact with a natural earth surface like grass or dirt, such conductive elements will deliver natural earth energy into the feet.
Some grounding boot brands (Harmony 783 and Bahé) blend, or add, conductive carbon into the rubber soles and utilize silver stitching and other conductive fibers in the inner sole layers. Others, like Groundz, punch copper rivets, which make contact with the balls of the feet, through all sole layers. Copper is an excellent conductor of electrical energy, and connects with leather inner soles to disperse that energy throughout the soles of the feet.

Dirt, mud, grass, stone, gravel, sand and unpainted concrete, tile and brick are all conductive surfaces, and you can absorb Earth energy from them. Your yard, parks, beaches, mountain trails and the forest are all great places to ground in grounding boots.
You can also ground on concrete or brick as long as it lays directly atop the Earth, without a layer of plastic or other insulator in between.
Water is a good conductor (especially mineral-rich ocean water) when in liquid form. When water solidifies (e.g. as snow or ice), it is less conductive.
Wood, vinyl, asphalt, rubber and composite wood are all insulative, which means they will NOT conduct the Earth's energy into your feet. So you can't ground on most roads, decks or interior floors.

Bahé makes fully waterproof grounding boots, which -in our experience - keep feet warm and dry in wet, snowy conditions.
Harmony 783 grounding boot uppers are pre-treated for water resistance, so they hold up in some snow; however, as they are not fully waterproof, you should avoid submerging them in puddles and in slushy snow.

Yes. Bahé grounding boots are vegan. All other brands we recommend use leather or suede in their grounding boots.
