WHAT ARE EARTHING & GROUNDING PRODUCTS?
Grounding, otherwise known as Earthing, is connecting to Earth’s natural electron flow by making direct skin contact with a natural Earth surface like grass, dirt, stone or brick. The simplest ways to ground are to stand or walk outside barefoot, and or to lay directly on the ground.
However, not everyone is able to ground outside each day for sufficient amounts of time, and this is where Earthing devices and other grounding products can help. Earthing devices are products that enable users to connect with Earth’s natural energy while they are indoors, so they can ground for longer periods of time while sleeping, working at desks, sitting on couches, etc. Such devices are especially useful when it’s too wet, hot, or cold outside to comfortably ground.
Not all grounding products are strictly for indoor use, though. Grounding shoes, grounding socks and even some grounding yoga mats can all help you ground outside without making direct skin contact with grass and dirt. More on these below, but first we want to share our favorite Earthing devices with you…
WHAT ARE THE BEST GROUNDING DEVICES?
Hands down, the best indoor grounding devices are Earthing-brand products.
Why do we recommend them so strongly? For more than twenty years, modern grounding pioneer Clint Ober has dedicated his life to helping people improve their health and well-being through the practice of Earthing or grounding. He and our father, Cardiologist Dr. Stephen Sinatra, co-wrote the original Earthing: the most important health discovery ever? book and conducted pilot studies together. As Founder of Earth Fx, Inc., Clint helped develop and patent the first indoor grounding products, and he continues to fine tune his product lines so that they offer the best of form, function and aesthetic.
Having enjoyed various versions of Earthing® mats, sleep systems and other products on this page for over 15 years, we feel very confident recommending Clint’s tried-and-true Earthing® brand.
